The Department of Computer Science has launched an exciting new initiative in blockchain research and education.  Thanks to a signature gift from our partners at Block.one, we have announced new faculty searches, offered new courses, organized software development challenges, hosted two Blocksburg Summits, and provided seed grants to faculty to drive research and innovation around blockchain technology. 

In the spirit of Virginia Tech's motto, Ut Prosim (That I May Serve), Blockchain at Virginia Tech is focused on blockchain that serves humanity and advances technology.
