Make an Impact
When you make a gift to the Department of Computer Science, you join thousands of others who provide indispensable resources for students, faculty, and alumni.
Whether you give $5 or $5,000 gifts of any size make a big impact on our students:
- A $50 gift assists in the annual recognition of outstanding undergraduate and graduate students, academic advisors, GTAs, and instructional faculty.
- A $100 gift supports undergraduate research opportunities for CS students.
- A $1,000 gift funds initiatives to broaden participation in computer science to K-12 students in rural counties adjacent to Virginia Tech.
- A $1,000 gift sends a CS student to a research or professional development conference.
- A $5,000 gift offsets expenses for study abroad opportunities for CS students.
The top priorities in the department of Computer Science are:
- Give to the CS Investment in Excellence fund to support undergraduates in computer science
- Give to the George W. Gorsline Memorial Scholarship fund to support undergraduates in computer science
