Hokies give back
Broadening participation
- The Anne & George Gorsline Endowed Scholarship was established to recognize and promote the continuation of Gorsline's achievement of having females represent 30 to 40 percent of the department's student population during his tenure. Specify the "Anne & George Gorsline Endowed Scholarship in Computer Science" - Fund Number 885589.
- The Barbara Ryder Excellence Fund, which is focused on supporting diversity and inclusion in computer science. Give to the Barbara G. Ryder Fund for Excellence in Computer Science.
- The George Gorsline Memorial Scholarship is given each year to a rising senior who has made the most significant rebound from his/her freshman year. Specify the "George Gorsline Memorial Scholarship Award" - Fund Number 883979.
- Unrestricted gifts have immediate and flexible impact on students, as well as the department's growth and excellence.
- Endowed scholarships help grow our undergraduate scholarship endowment, donate to the CS Investment in Excellence Endowment.
