Looking for a Way to Serve the Department?

Diversity Scholarships -

  • The Anne & George Gorsline Endowed Scholarship was established to recognize and promote the continuation of Gorsline's achievement of having females represent 30 to 40 percent of the department's student population during his tenure. Specify the "Anne & George Gorsline Endowed Scholarship in Computer Science" - Fund Number 885589.
  • The Barbara Ryder Excellence Fund, which is focused on supporting diversity and inclusion in computer science. Specify the "Barbara G. Ryder Fund for Excellence in Computer Sicnece" - Fund Number 861127. 
  • The George Gorsline Memorial Scholarship is given each year to a rising senior who has made the most significant rebound from his/her freshman year. Specify the "George Gorsline Memorial Scholarship Award" - Fund Number 883979.

Unrestricted current-use gifts - These have the most immediate and flexible impact on students as well as the department's growth and excellence. Specify "Computer Science Department Annual Fund" - Fund Number 881337.

Endowed scholarships - To help grow our undergraduate scholarship endowment, please specify the "CS Investment in Excellence Endowment" - Fund Number 860199.
