Rekha Bhogaraju

Rekha Bhogaraju is a senior technical and systems integration architect with extensive experience in software product development and consulting with various federal government agencies in the domains of federal financials, acquisitions, and asset management systems. She has more than 25 years of expertise in managing large-scale software systems.

Bhogaraju earned her Master of Science in computer science from Virginia Tech in 1998 and her Bachelor of Engineering from Bangalore University, India, in 1996. She resides in Northern Virginia with her husband (a fellow Hokie), their two children, and their dog.

Bhogaraju is a strong advocate for encouraging girls to pursue engineering and computer science and said she looks forward to contributing to the department's advisory board.
