About CS|Source
CS|Source member companies have exclusive opportunities to engage with computer science students during their membership term.
- Our spring and fall career fairs draw hundreds of students looking for internships and full-time employment.
- Members get invitations to serve on panels to discuss industry trends, visit with student groups, conduct technology and information sessions, engage in professional workshops, and other opportunities.
- Members get access to the CS|Source JobHub to post open positions and review the resumes of computer science students.
- We provide branding opportunities through our digital displays on campus, email correspondence, and other platforms.
- Member companies may place events, opportunities, job postings, and more in our weekly email newsletter that goes out to computer science undergraduate majors and minors, and graduate students.
All proceeds from CS|Source membership dues go toward:
- academic scholarships
- student conference expenses
- undergraduate student research activities
- stipends for student organizations programming.

Recruiting position statement
Virginia Tech recommends employers follow the Principals for Ethical Professional Practice established by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). The guidelines and opinion letters present a variety of topics, including setting reasonable deadlines for job offers.
