Senior Anthony Folino reflects that, “Thanks to my degree I've had the chance to travel way further and see more of the country than I would've thought possible.” Post-graduation, he will be working for Amazon AWS in California. 🎉 #HokieGrad
Class of 2020 graduate, Sparsh Srivastava from Arlington, VA, will be starting a job at Capital One as a software engineer after his travels to Bhutan, India, and Singapore! Congrats #HokieGrad 🎉
Class of 2020 graduate, Samantha Tieng from Knoxville, TN, will be working for Cisco Systems in Raleigh, NC! Being a computer science major opened the doors to her interests in cybersecurity and research with the HUME Center on Machine Learning. Congrats #HokieGrad 🎓
Class of 2020 graduate, Bailey Spell, will be working as a software engineering at Microsoft! Looking back he recalls, “What I have learned from my coursework will allow me to make the world a better place than it is today.” #HokieGrad
Class of 2020 graduate, Liling Yuan from Sichuan, China, will be staying in Blacksburg to continue her education at Virginia Tech. Looking back at her undergraduate time here she said, "having a CS degree gives me a strong foundation to start my research in grad school and future career." Congrats #HokieGrad 🎓
Class of 2020 graduate, Britton Lee from Clifton, VA, says that his CS degree helped him, “gain experience in cyber security and software development, making myself more marketable as a well-rounded college graduate.” He will be moving to Arlington and working at Capital One in their Technical Development Program! Class of 2020 graduate, Sergio Pozo from Annandale, VA, will take his next adventure as a software engineer at Google in NYC! Reflecting on his time here, he said that, “Scholarships to attend conferences and the ability to create something of my own” helped open doors for him. Congrats #HokieGrad 🎓
Class of 2020 graduate, Kayla Moore from Baltimore, MD, includes hackathons, internships, securing a full-time job, and good friends as her highlights as a CS student. Her next adventure will be as a software engineer with the U.S. government! Congrats #HokieGrad 🎉

GET TO KNOW OUR CLASS OF 2020 STAND-OUTS
“Emma is truly a stand-out student who has impressive accomplishments and I am confident that she will be a leader in the engineering industry,” said Tonisha Montgomery, academic advisor. “She has demonstrated excellence in all that she puts her mind to and is clearly not intimidated by hard work.” Read more.

Sam Imamov, a senior majoring in computer science and a minoring in music technology, served as team lead for the Hokienauts, who for the second year were finalists in the 2020 NASA SUITS Challenge. Read more.
